The Foreign Office (FO) announced on Saturday that Mohammad Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia’s trip to Pakistan had been confirmed.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, a spokesperson for the FO, informed Dawn.com of the situation and promised to make a quick announcement regarding the revised date of the visitor’s arrival.
The crown prince made the announcement of a $10 billion investment for the establishment of an oil refinery last month, according to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who also claimed that the prince will soon be visiting the nation.
Days before, the premier had returned from a three-day visit to the kingdom where he and the monarch decided to strengthen their friendship and bilateral ties.
The prime minister had stated that the crown prince “was willing to do whatever for [the sake of] people of Pakistan.”
When Salman arrived, PM Shehbaz remarked, “I want all of you to welcome him cordially since he comes from a friendly nation.”
When former Prime Minister Imran Khan was in office, the crown prince’s most recent trip to Pakistan occurred in February 2019.
