Estimated read time 3 min read

I’ve been reading manga for about six years now and it’s been a pretty big part of my life. I remember when I first discovered the genre and how it completely changed the way I viewed comics. Manga isn’t just for kids anymore, and that’s a good thing. This blog post is an introduction to my reading manga journey. It covers my favorite manga series, why I love them, and what makes them so special to me.

What is Manga?

Manga (まんが, meaning “manga”) is a Japanese comics medium that used panels to display sequences of images, typically accompanied by accompanying sound. The word derives from the Japanese manga-ku (画像集), which means “picture book.” Manga started off as comic strips and then evolved into its own graphic novel form with detailed backgrounds and characters. Manga can be enjoyed for its artistic value and storytelling techniques, but it can also be used as instructional material or educational tools in Japan.

What are the benefits of reading Manga?

MyReadingManga is an enjoyable pastime that has a number of benefits. Here are three:

  1. Reading Manga can be educational. Many manga series are filled with rich detail and complex storylines, which can provide students with a deeper understanding of history and current events.
  2. Reading Manga can be entertaining. Many mangaseries are packed with humor, action, and suspense, making them great reads for any age group.
  3. Reading Manga can improve your vocabulary. Many manga series are written in succinct Japanese, which forces readers to expand their vocabulary in order to fully enjoy the stories.

My Reading Manga Journey

I’ve been reading manga for about four years now, and it’s become one of my favorite pastimes. I started out reading them digitally on my phone, but eventually graduated to buying physical copies. In this article, I’ll be describing my reading manga journey, from the very first manga I ever read to the most recent series I’ve finished.

My Reading Manga Journey: An Introduction

Manga has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, my parents would buy me comics like Marvel Unlimited and DC Comics Unlimited. These days, manga is still a big part of my life- despite no longer owning a single comic book!

My earliest memory of reading manga was when I was 10 years old and my family brought home a copy of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Volume 1. At the time, I didn’t understand what was happening on the pages, but I enjoyed following along with Jotaro and his friends. It wasn’t until much later that I learned about the plot and realized just how complex Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is!

Since then, manga has become an important part of my life. Whenever I have some free time, I’ll usually pick up one or more volumes of a series and start reading. Whether it’s during class or while working on other tasks around the house, manga always manages to find a way into my schedule!

Conclusion

My reading manga journey has been nothing short of amazing. It started as a way to escape reality, but it soon became one of my favorite things to do. I’ve read tons of manga and I can’t wait to continue doing so for years to come. If you’re new to the world of manga or just looking for something fun and exciting to do, I recommend giving it a try.
